Calandrinia genus of the plant family Portulacaceae. Calandrinia balonensis, Calandrinia polyandra used commonly as feed for cattle and sheep grazed extensively in arid and semi-arid areas of Australia, these plants have a high oxalate content and are suspected of causing deaths in wethers due to obstructive urolithiasis. Called also parakeelia, parakeelya. |
