CYR61

CYR61

A gene on chromosome 1p22.3 that encodes a growth factor-inducible secreted protein, which interacts with integrins and heparan sulfate proteoglycan and promotes endothelial cell adhesion. CYR61 plays a role in cell proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, apoptosis and extracellular matrix formation.
