A pentad of clinical signs seen with mixed connective tissue disease: Calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, Esophageal dysmotility with stricture, Sclerodactyly, Telangiectasia; CREST has a slightly better prognosis than other connective tissue disorders, but has late complications–eg, biliary cirrhosis and pulmonary HTN Lab Anticentromere antibodies are characteristic of CREST, but may be seen in progressive systemic sclerosis, older ♀, or with HLA-DR1

Wet weather and cold temperatures Wednesday offered a mixed blessing to firefighters battling the Cascade Crest Complex fires.
For the second day, crews had limited support from airplanes in battling the Cascade Crest Complex fires as new fires in Central Oregon were deemed a higher priority.
The fire, part of the Cascade Crest Complex, has burned 5,213 acres, up from 4,305 acres on Tuesday.
