CARD11

A gene on chromosome 7p22 that encodes a protein which provides the signal needed for T-cell receptor (TCR)-mediated T-cell activation. CARD11 binding to DPP4 induces T-cell proliferation and NF-kappa-B activation in a T-cell receptor/CD3-dependent manner. It activates NF-kappa-B via BCL10 and IKK and stimulates BCL10 phosphorylation.
