Q. How do people with Bipolar Disorder make it in today's business world? It's competitive, and it seems stability/happiness is out of reach because being bipolar you feel are out of touch.

A. There are jobs you can manage- being a writer (if you have the gift), being a freelancer, nothing you need to commit for more then few months a year. And if you take the meds and they are helping- just keep taking them.

Q. Great depression after I lost huge amount of money in my business. I am very scared about injections... I am in a great depression after I lost huge amount of money in my business. Doctor described the symptoms of my severe depression. To be honest I am very scared about medicines and injections and would like to know whether depression can go away without seeking medical help? A. Your fears are based on unknowns. You have to trust someone who can see you in the big picture. Often we patients just can't see how we really are, while the doctor is trained to recogize symptoms and make diagnoses. Lots of patients including myself are scared to take antidepressnats initially. It may take time to accept yourself as someone with a malady. Trust your doctor. Be patient. Don;t be too hard on yourself and let your doctor help you.
