Buhner method a method for retaining a prolapsed vagina. A circumferential suture is placed deeply down each side of the vulva commencing at an incision dorsal to the vulva and exiting below it. This is repeated on the other side and the suture is then drawn tight and tied. Requires a special needle with the eye in the point, and a special braided tubular suture.
