Bryant's triangle

Bry·ant's triangle (brnts)
n.
A triangle drawn in order to determine the upward displacement of the trochanter in fracture of the neck of the femur. A line is drawn around the body at the level of the anterior superior iliac spines, another line is drawn perpendicular to it as far as the great trochanter of the femur, and the third line is drawn from the trochanter to the iliac spine. Also called iliofemoral triangle.
