Bruton's agammaglobulinemia
Etymology: Ogden C. Bruton, American physician, b. 1908 a sex-linked, inherited condition characterized by the absence of gamma globulin in the blood. Those (usually children) affected by the syndrome are deficient in antibodies and susceptible to repeated infections. Compare agammaglobulinemia.
