These are Braxton Hicks contractions, which can begin at around six months, and occur on and off during the last few weeks. This is not a cause for concern, because women living with pregnancy 26 weeks sometimes have what are called Braxton Hicks contractions. When your labor starts, you will know that you are not having the old standby Braxton Hicks contractions you have had during your pregnancy. |
