Brachychiton
Australian tree genus, members of the family Sterculiaceae. Valuable fodder trees in drought time but can poison sheep and cattle, the seeds being most poisonous. Toxin unidentified. Includes B. populneum (kurrajong tree).

Brachychiton rupestris
may cause nitrate-nitrite poisoning. Called also bottle tree.
