Ornithodoros parkeri, another tick vector of relapsing fever spirochetes in western United States, was collected during 1936 in Beaverhead County in Southwestern Montana, and an undisclosed number of these ticks transmitted Borrelia parkeri to one mouse in the laboratory (9).
