A form of sado-masochisic sexuoeroticism in which one partner is chained, tied, handcuffed or otherwise restrained in one position, while the other partner assumes castigatory and/or authoritative roles and performs a variety of ‘punitive’ erotic acts involving obedience, servitude, abuse, torture or enslavement
