A malodorous body scent
BO is either (1) Apparent only to the nose’s owner, thus being defined as a disorder of perception, which may occur in auras before a seizure, in schizophrenia, and in olfactory reference syndrome—see there, or (2) Apparent to others, emanating from various orifices, derived from urine, faeces, saliva, skin, breasts, sex organs, and sweat glands

According to Muhammad Ramli Nuh, the deputy chairman of the State Religious and Information Committee, couples wanting to separate had often cited reasons like humdrum sex and body odour for a divorce.
Today all houses have indoor plumbing and bathrooms, it's normal to wash daily and use deodorants, and you don't expect to encounter too much body odour when out in public.
Researcher Charles J Wysockio, of Philadelphia, said: "It is quite difficult to block a woman's awareness of body odour, but it's rather easy to do so in men.
