glycosuria /gly·cos·uria/ (su´re-ah) the presence of glucose in the urine.
renal glycosuria  that due to inherited inability of the renal tubules to reabsorb glucose completely.

renal glycosuria
n.
Recurring or persistent glycosuria with blood levels in the normal range, resulting from the failure of renal tubules to reabsorb glucose at a normal rate from the glomerular filtrate.

renal glycosuria
Etymology: L, ren, kidney; Gk, glykys, sweet, ouron, urine
a familial condition characterized by lowered renal threshold to sugar. Blood glucose levels may be normal, although sugar is excreted in the urine. Also called renal diabetes mellitus.

glycosuria [gli″ko-su´re-ah]
the presence of glucose in the urine; called also dextrosuria and glucosuria.
renal glycosuria glycosuria due to inability of the renal tubules to reabsorb glucose completely.

'renal' glycosuria
 A common–1:500 AR condition in which glycosuria occurs without hyperglycemia, unrelated to diet; subjects are asymptomatic, have a normal glucose tolerance test and utilization and storage of carbohydrates, but may become transiently ketotic in stress or pregnancy
