Benazepril Heart Failure Study. A trial evaluating the effects of long-acting ACE inhibitor on exercise tolerance and signs and symptoms of congestive heart failure (CHF).
 
Results
Significant increase in exercise tolerance, and reduction in signs and symptoms of CHF.
 
Conclusion
Benazeopril benefits patients with CHF receiving background therapy with digoxin and a diuretic.

Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre; 172 patients—114 ascending doses of benazepril, 58 placebo.
