auriculotherapy (·rik·y·lō·the·r·pē),
n a form of acupuncture in which needles are placed in various portions of the ear to affect the person. It postulates body correlates on the ear, so a treatment performed upon the ear will have effects on the reflected body part. See also acupuncture and reflexology.
