1. An infectious granuloma caused by fungi of the genus Aspergillus.
2. A variety of bronchopulmonary aspergillosis characterized by a ball-like mass of the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus in an existing cavity in the lung. Also called fungus ball.

A ball or mass made of Aspergillus fungi that can form in the lungs of patients with suppressed immune systems.
