Asparagus plants will start appearing in shops as will strawberry plants from now through early winter.
It is kin to the asparagus plants used in landscaping - sometimes referred to as asparagus fern (Asparagus densiflorus 'Sprengeri') and foxtail asparagus (Asparagus densiflorus 'Myersii').
