An extremely caustic mixture that contains 18 parts nitric acid and 82 parts hydrochloric acid.

aqua regia

Latin for a fuming, highly corrosive mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acids in a 1:3 ratio, so known as it dissolves noble (regal) metals gold and platinum.
