Apocynum a plant genus of the family Apocynaceae. Apocynum cannabinum, Apocynum androsaemifolium poisoning by these plants, which probably contain cardiac glycosides, is characterized by a syndrome of gastroenteritis with diarrhea, abdominal pain, teeth grinding with nervous signs of tremor, incoordination and convulsions.
