anthralin /an·thra·lin/ (an´thrah-lin) an anthraquinone derivative used topically in psoriasis. anthralin [an′thrəlin] a topical antipsoriatic. indications It is prescribed in the treatment of psoriasis and chronic dermatitis. contraindications Known hypersensitivity to this drug prohibits its use.
