The group's goal is to offer new and compelling content using
``high-definition'' digital radio technology, which produces
CD-quality sound and eliminates the static, hiss and fades associated
with analog signals, top radio executives said Tuesday at a press
briefing unveiling the alliance. The Signal Analysis PICtail Daughter Board and accompanying PC
software, when plugged into the PICkit 1 Flash Starter Kit, enables
engineers to analyze analog signals as processed by Microchip's low
pin-count PIC 8- bit microcontrollers. The digital TV is mainly to reduce the RF with the central
frequency at about 200-800MHz to IF with the central frequency at about
36MHz through the tuner after receiving the analog signals from TV
stations through antenna. |
