aniracetam

A lipid-soluble ampakine and nootropic-type racetam used in Japan and Europe, which allegedly enhances long-term potentiation and long-term memory in AMPA-receptor-rich neurons. It has been tested in animals, Alzheimer's patients and temporarily impaired healthy subjects, but is not FDA-approved.
