Huggins, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, who claimed that mercury vapor emitted from dental fillings could be a health hazard and asserted that patients diagnosed with mercury hypersensitivity—which he claimed affected 22% of the US population—should have all metal dental work in their mouths removed
