Aggressive AngiomyxomaA rare, locally aggressive, non-metastasising tumour of the vulva, vagina, pelvis and/or perineum, usually of pre-menopausal women. In the vulva, it presents as a firm, rubbery subcutaneous mass, often near Bartholin’s gland, and may be misdiagnosed as a Bartholin’s gland cyst.
Management Wide local excision without lymphadenectomy.
Prognosis Late recurrence occurs in 35–72%; no metastases have been reported.
