The improvement in homotypic neutralizing
antibody titer and decrease in heterotypic neutralizing antibody titer
described here is reminiscent of affinity maturation. The Platform, called ProCode, can be
configured for monoclonal antibody selection, affinity maturation and
library generation, for improving solubility and bioactivity of
biopharmaceuticals, as well as identification and characterization of
protein-protein interactions and discovery of protein drugs. XOMA's mAb platform includes
leading commercial antibody display phage libraries, hybridoma, Human
Engineering[TM], affinity maturation technologies, and a fully
integrated product development infrastructure, including cell line and
process development, preclinical and clinical functions, and
manufacturing. |
