Meyer

Adolf (1866–1950). Swiss-born psychiatrist in the United States who directed the development of the Henry Phipps Psychiatric Clinic at Johns Hopkins University. His major contributions include propounding the theory of psychobiology, standardizing case histories, and reforming mental health institutions (which were called “insane asylums” at that time).
