Acremonium /Ac·re·mo·ni·um/ (ak″rĕ-mo´ne-um) a genus of imperfect fungi rarely isolated from human infection. A. falcifor´me, A. kilien´se, and A. reci´fei are agents of eumycotic mycetoma.
