Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST),

a committee created in 1972 to establish, maintain and promote standards of quality for educational programs in surgical technology and surgical assisting recognized through programmatic accreditation in cooperation with the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), and the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
