Abbokinase is the trade name for urokinase, an enzyme produced by human kidneys to lyse (dissolve) blood clots.
We were one of the first companies to identify generic biopharmaceuticals as an emerging industry and our Company expects to get approval for marketing ThromboClear, our lead product -- the first generic version of Abbott Laboratories' Abbokinase in 2004.
The issues surrounding Abbott's ability to supply Abbokinase to the blood clot therapy market correspondingly affected sales of MTI's blood clot therapy products to Abbott.
