ATP:cobalamin adenosyltransferase

(redirected from ATPcobalamin adenosyltransferase)

ATP:co·bal·a·min ad·e·nos·yl·trans·fer·ase

an enzyme that catalyzes the reaction of ATP, water, and cobalamin to form orthophosphate, pyrophosphate, and adenosylcobalamin. Adenosylcobalamin is required by methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. A deficiency of ATP:cobalamin adenosyltransferase leads to methylmalonic acidemia.
