The least, the lost, and the last are the people I think about when I write letters to legislators and meet with them, do policy research, attend endless community and other meetings, encourage others to be politically involved and when I ask my nursing peers to contribute to our state and national PACs (TN-PAC and ANA-PAC respectively).
We have members who are active at the ANA national level with Carol O'Meara being selected for membership on the ANA By-Laws Committee and Sara Jarrett serving as chair of the ANA-PAC.
The results of this online poll will then be factored into the endorsement criteria used by ANA's Presidential Endorsement Task Force and the ANA-PAC Board of Trustees to make a endorsement recommendation to the ANA Board of Directors.
