ALDH1A1

A gene on chromosome 9q21.13 that encodes a cytosolic aldehyde dehydrogenase that plays a major role in detoxifying aldehydes generated by alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. The ALDH1A1 gene may be involved in regulating the metabolic responses to a high-fat diet.

The main purpose of this paper is to assess whether the ALDC curve can be applied to measure the aggregate liberation and subsequent dispersion of soil types other than Vertosols, for a range of aggregate size fractions between 2 and 100 [micro]m in diameter.
In the ALDC model it is assumed that at E = 0, the amount of aggregated and discrete material starts at [C.
This relationship between an increase in energy and the resulting ALDC occurred for all the size fractions in each of the soil types modelled.
A component of the ALDC model is a measure of the critical energy ([E.
The shape of the ALDC is determined by the rate constants [k.
Finally, the initial theory underlying the ALDC assumes that aggregates first breakdown into the predefined size fraction 2-20 [micro]m in diameter.
The results obtained indicate that the ALDC, devised by Field and Minasny (1999) for Vertosols, can be used to model the liberation and subsequent dispersion of soil aggregates in the topsoils of Chromosols and Ferrosols, by using a range of different size fractions between 2 and 100 [micro]m in diameter for each soil type.
The ALDC is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation with a Board of Directors composed of more than 25 attorneys from law firms, government agencies, corporate legal departments, as well as members of local minority and women bar associations and other legal industry organizations.
Sony tests demonstrate that the average data compression ratio for ALDC across multiple data types is approximately 2.
The model SDX-300c with ALDC compression will ship in the Fall at a suggested list price of $4,995.
AIT (Advanced Intelligent Tape) - Is the new tape technology which incorporates a new recording format, ALDC compression, MIC capability (1), and the exclusive use of AME media.
