5'-nucleotidase test |
0.03 sec. |
|
5′-nucleotidase test, an infrequently performed blood test used to help diagnose liver disease, particularly cholestasis. It provides information similar to that from the alkaline phosphatase (ALP) test. However, unlike ALP, 5′-nucleotidase is specific to the liver, so this test is used to confirm liver disease when ALP results are uncertain. How to thank TFD for its existence?
